How The Grove works
Short version: you pay a dollar, a real tree gets planted, and your tree in the 3D grove grows one ring taller. Nothing else is promised.
What your money buys
$1.25 = 1 tree, all in — there is no separate service fee. Every paid order is sent to our planting partner, Treeapp, which plants the trees in real reforestation projects. Each order stores its planting status and reference, so you can see how many of your trees are confirmed planted.
You are buying real-world tree planting plus a visual spot in the grove. You are not buying advertising guarantees, traffic, rankings outside this site, or any financial return.
One price, no add-on fees
$1.25 per tree is the whole price. It covers the planting itself plus hosting the grove, payment processing and verifying every planting. There is no separate service fee at checkout.
What you can buy
Trees at $1.25 each. Brand packages (Sapling, Canopy, Old Growth) bundle trees with time in the featured spotlight and an impact certificate. A featured spotlight can also be bought on its own, per week, and pins your tree to the centre of the grove and to the featured strip — it does not change your tree count or your rank. Monthly sponsorship plants the same number of trees every month until you cancel.
The price includes what we pay our planting partner plus what it costs to run The Grove. Featured slots and certificates are presentation only: they never buy trees you did not pay for.
Ranking is simple and public
Trees funded stack forever and never reset. The tree with the most funded trees is the tallest and sits at the centre of the grove. Counts change only through a verified payment — there is no way to edit them by hand.
What you can put on a tree
A name or brand, a link, and one line of text. No hate speech, no adult content, no malware, phishing or scam links, no impersonation of a brand or person you do not represent, and no content you do not hold the rights to.
By planting a tree you confirm you are allowed to use that name and link. We may remove any tree that breaks these rules; funded trees already planted in the real world stay planted.
Refunds and takedowns
Because each order triggers real planting, orders are final once the trees are planted. If something is wrong with your order, contact us and we will fix what can still be fixed.
If a tree impersonates you or your brand, contact us with proof of ownership and we will remove or transfer it.
Accounts
You can plant and fund trees without an account. Signing in links your trees to you so you can edit them and see your backers in your grove.
